About us
MT2 is well known, worldwide, for its devices which qualify, analyze and test telephone terminals.
Since 1999, MT2 designs, develops and manufactures non intrusive signal analyzers : The ASMS100 and the NIVA series.
In 2009, MT2 has launched the NIVA-GPON analyzer in the FTTH domain, and in 2010 the eOLT-GPON emulator, which have become the tool set of reference for GPON testing, and have been chosen by the official BBF.247 certification laboratory.

PON-Platform
High Performance PON processing platform, first and only multi-purpose, X-GPON capable, processing platform on the market!
The MT2 PON Platform is a high performance, FPGA-based, multi-usage processing unit packed in a reduced and robust form factor. With the proper licenses (see corresponding datasheets), it may be
configured as either an analyzer or an OLT emulator, for both GPON and X-GPON1 protocols. The PON platform is controlled through a network connection
(Ethernet/Wifi, LAN/WAN access), from a client GUI on a regular PC/laptop. The whole testing set fits in a laptop case, and has been designed for both lab or field usage!

eOLT-(x)GPON
This licence allows to use the PON platform as a X-GPON1 OLT emulator. It is the first and only X-GPON1 OLT emulator on the market!
It is the heir of MT2's original eOLT GPON emulator,
which is used by LAN for the official BBF.247 certification for its neutrality
(it is independant of any chipset), its flexibility (through scripting, it is easy to create, modify and automate tests)
and its comprehensiveness (one may configure the XGPON bitstream from GTC up to OMCI).
The official BBF.247 test scripts may be provided with the emulator license, as a separate licence.
It may be used in conjunction with a third-party traffic generator (Xena and Spirent support included)

NIVA-(x)GPON
This licence allows to use the PON platform as a continous real-time Non Intrusive Viewer Analyzer for XG-PON1 signals. It is the first and only XG-PON1 Analyzer on the market!
The PON Platform-XG-PON NIVA Analyzer provides a non-intrusive analysis and monitoring tool, optimized
for continuous real-time analysis and display. This important feature provides a unique ease of use for day to day lab testing.
The GUI, which builds on the strength of our NIVA series, offers all the ease for an immediate or deferred analysis as well as the creation of reports. Its use is simple and intuitive, with a comprehensive data display.
The deep and detailed OMCI, PLOAM and GTC level analysis makes the MT2 NIVA XG-PON a complete tool for protocol fine-tuning, performance analysis, standard compliance and interoperability tests.
Its Client-Server architecture provides the highest flexibility for remote control and third party tools integration.
